With the Land

Wind Calligraphy and Walking Meditations are both interventions and dialogues with the land. 

Wind Calligraphy was first performed in Spain during my residency at Fondación Valparíso.  

Black Alchemy  was performed at White Sands NM, 2012 .  Red Alchemy was performed at Encinitas, CA, 2019

Walking Meditations - Hours in the sun mindfully walking back and forth across a sand dune in Morocco, 2003. The imprint of my feet as a marker of time. Just as I finished working the wind kicked up erasing all traces.
