Clay Sculptures & Drawings

I have a visceral connection with clay.  Unfired clay - working with mud in Morocco, raw clay in Seattle, and clays processed from hand-collected earth found in Santa Fe, NM – has manifest as Land Art, installations, sculpture, and works on paper.

Cloaked Earth & Stratum 264 - site specific sculptures for "Arrhythmic Visions" exhibition at The Center for Contemporary Arts, Santa Fe,  2012

Clay Drawings - a hand-collected clay “slurry” applied to cotton rag paper.  Framed.  Medium: clay, oil, paper. From 30" x 44" to 24” x 108”, 2011-2012
